With more than 20 years of civic leadership experience, Rick Conner most recently served as the interim city manager of Fruitland Park, Florida. He oversaw the city’s roughly $6 million budget, as well as annual capital funds. In addition, Rick Conner led a contract initiative that will double Fruitland Park in size within the next two years.
He previously supervised county transportation and infrastructure in Leesburg, Virginia. Among other achievements, he consolidated two departments into one operation of greater efficiency. Additionally, he directed Loudoun County’s capital construction projects and managed a team of 50 employees.
Away from his business endeavors, Rick Conner enjoys scuba diving and has dived in several locations throughout the world. He also likes to participate in CrossFit and play tennis. A community activist, he regularly supports various animal protection agencies and has volunteered in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
Mr. Conner received bachelor’s degrees in business administration and civil engineering from the University of Missouri. He holds a professional engineer license in the state of Florida.
